By accessing or using The Rituals application, website, or any associated services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
Description of Service
The Rituals is a habit tracking application available on iOS and Android. The app helps users build consistent daily habits through visual streak tracking, GitHub-style heatmap grids, one-tap logging, and celebration-based motivation. We offer both free and PRO subscription tiers.
Account Registration
The Rituals can be used without creating an account. All core features work with local on-device storage. Account registration is only required for cloud synchronization (PRO). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.

Free Tier
Up to 3 active habits with core tracking features including heatmap, streak counter, basic stats, reminders, and themes. Available at no cost, forever.
PRO Tier
Unlimited habits, streak freeze, interactive widgets, Live Activity, advanced analytics, cloud sync, data export, custom themes, and 30+ achievements.

All paid plans include a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can cancel anytime through your App Store or Google Play settings.
User Content
You own your data. The Rituals claims no ownership over the habit entries, notes, or personal data you input.
By default, all data is stored locally on your device. If you enable cloud sync, your data is encrypted and stored securely. You may export your data at any time in CSV, JSON, or PDF formats.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- — Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the application
- — Attempt unauthorized access to our servers or other users' data
- — Use the service for any unlawful purpose
- — Interfere with or disrupt the integrity of the service
Intellectual Property
The Rituals brand, including its name, logo, visual identity, illustrations, animations, source code, and all associated intellectual property, are the exclusive property of The Rituals and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws.
Privacy
Your privacy matters deeply to us. Our data handling practices are detailed in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference.
Disclaimers
The service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
The Rituals is a habit tracking tool and does not provide medical, psychological, or health advice.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Rituals shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the subscription fees paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Termination
You may stop using The Rituals at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for conduct that violates these Terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before any termination.
Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
